🌓 Angel's Share

Simulates volume loss and ABV change as spirit matures in a barrel.
Results are a realistic simulation, not a laboratory prediction.

🫻 Initial Spirit
Volume must be greater than 0.
ABV must be between 20 and 90 %.
📢 Barrel Parameters
🌡 Environment & Time
Temperature must be between 0 and 40 °C.
Humidity must be between 20 and 100 %.
Ageing period must be between 1 and 120 months.

Angel's Share is the portion of spirit that evaporates during barrel ageing. It is a complex process depending on temperature, humidity, barrel size and wood age.

The simulator uses monthly loss calculations based on established models (v1.1). Three scenarios (conservative, realistic, aggressive) reflect the uncertainty of real-world ageing conditions.

Note: Results are indicative only and not a substitute for real-world measurements. Actual losses depend on specific cooperage wood, cellar microclimate and barrel seal quality.
